1. “Al-Qaeda-in-America
Now consider Adam Gadahn, as I did in this recent column: his whole story – a half-Jewish kid from southern California rebels against his upbringing and joins al-Qaeda – is unlikely enough to draw at least a small cloud of suspicion. Especially when we consider Gadahn’s alleged status in the organization: analysts attribute Osama bin Laden’s recent references to American political and economic issues to Gadahn’s influence, and he is usually described as al-Qaeda’s semi-official “mouthpiece” or spokesman – a rather high position for some half-Jewish to reach in al-Qaeda. Or has al-Qaeda now gone in for “diversity”?
So what’s going on here? You’ll notice whenever the US homes in on a possible target that the country in question is usually described as a “haven” for al-Qaeda, and, what’s more, an al-Qaeda affiliate claiming allegiance to bin Laden springs up from the murk: al-Qaeda-in-Iraq, al-Qaeda-in-Yemen, al-Qaeda-in-Somalia – and now, ominously, al-Qaeda-in-America.
No doubt this uptick in the alleged threat from US-born “terrorists” will be used to justify the extension and expansion of the government’s power to spy on us, harass us at airports, and invade every aspect of our lives. It doesn’t matter that the whole scare-mongering campaign seems bogus from beginning to end, and that the alleged danger posed by “Jihad Jane” and “Jihad Jamie” appears to be largely a figment of the US media’s perfervid imagination, and that these gals are a danger mainly to themselves. What matters is that the alleged danger of Islamic terrorists on American soil has been resurrected.
It remains to be seen, however, what are the origins of these remarkably murky incidents of “terrorism.” I strongly suspect there’s a lot less here than meets the eye – and a lot more shenanigans by the authorities than anyone now imagines.”

3. “German Intelligence Agency Fights to Keep Nazi Files Secret after 50 Years
What does Germany have to hide by keeping secret the files on one of the Nazis’ most notorious leaders? Possibly details about how the Germans and other Europeans helped Holocaust architect Adolf Eichmann flee the country after the end of World War II.
…
But journalists and Nazi experts say the real reason the files remain hidden is because they contain intelligence about German, Italian and Vatican officials who assisted Eichmann get out of Europe and relocate to Argentina, where he lived with his family until Mossad captured him in 1960. The records also may reveal how German officials stationed in Argentina fraternized with former Nazis hiding in plain sight in Buenos Aires and other cities.”
4. “Bill Gates talks about
‘vaccines to reduce population’
In a recent conference in California, Gates reveals a less public agenda of his philanthropy―population reduction, otherwise known as eugenics.
…
Along with the scientifically absurd proposition of reducing manmade CO2 emissions worldwide to zero by 2050, approximately four and a half minutes into the talk, Gates declares, “First we got population. The world today has 6.8 billion people. That’s headed up to about 9 billion. Now if we do a really great job on new vaccines, health care, reproductive health services, we lower that by perhaps 10 or 15 percent.”1 (author’s emphasis). In plain English, one of the most powerful men in the world states clearly that he expects vaccines to be used to reduce population growth.
…
he programs in Africa and elsewhere are masked as philanthropy and providing health services for poor Africans. In reality they involve involuntary population sterilization via vaccination and other medicines that make women of child-bearing age infertile. The Gates Foundation, where Buffett deposited the bulk of his wealth two years ago, is also backing introduction of GMO seeds into Africa under the cloak of the Kofi Annan-led ‘Second Green Revolution’ in Africa. The introduction of GMO patented seeds in Africa to date has met with enormous indigenous resistance.
Health experts point out that were the intent of Gates really to improve the health and well-being of black Africans, the same hundreds of millions of dollars the Gates Foundation has invested in untested and unsafe vaccines could be used in providing minimal sanitary water and sewage systems. Vaccinating a child who then goes to drink feces-polluted river water is hardly healthy in any respect. But of course cleaning up the water and sewage systems of Africa would revolutionize the health conditions of the Continent.”

6. “The War in Afghanistan and the Central Asia Pipeline Plan
And finally the Post reports, “Brig. Gen. Lawrence D. Nicholson, the top Marine commander in Afghanistan now wants Marine units to push through miles of uninhabited desert to establish control of a crossing point for insurgents, drugs and weapons on the border with Pakistan. And he wants to use the new base in Delaram to mount more operations in Nimruz, a part of far southwestern Afghanistan deemed so unimportant that it is one of the only provinces where there is no U.S. or NATO reconstruction team.”
When you check the maps above a clearer picture emerges. The bottom map is the proposed pipeline route to move Caspian Sea oil through Turkmenistan into Afghanistan and then finally through Pakistan to ports along the Arabian Sea where U.S. and British tankers would gorge themselves with the black gold.
The whole reason the U.S. is in Afghanistan and Pakistan today is to deny those pipelines from being routed through Russia, China, or Iran.
Then look at the top map where the U.S. Marines are operating inside Afghanistan and causing some controversy within the military. They are building big bases in desolate southwestern Afghanistan and wanting to extend control in that region near the border of Pakistan – all of which are areas that must “be controlled” if pipelines are to be successfully built and maintained.”

7. “U.S.-Israel rift undermining some long-standing taboos
As for the second point: I’ve previously noted the glaring contradiction among neoconservatives, whereby they simultaneously (a) tell American Jewish voters to vote Republican because (they claim) the GOP is better for Israel and (b) insist that it’s anti-Semitic to point out that some are guided by their allegiance to Israel when forming their political beliefs about U.S. policy. Obviously, anyone who does (a) is, by logical necessity, endorsing the very premise in (b) which they want (when it suits them) to label anti-Semitic. Neoconservatives constantly make political appeals to Jewish voters expressly grounded in the premise that American Jews are guided by allegiance to Israel (vote Republican because it’s better for Israel), yet then scream “anti-Semite” at anyone who points this out. When faced with this glaring contradiction, their typical response — as illustratively voiced by Commentary‘s Jennifer Rubin, after she argued in a 2008 Jerusalem Post column that American Jews should vote against Obama because he’d be bad for Israel — is to deny that “that the interests of the U.S. and Israel are antithetical” and insist that “support for Israel in no way requires sacrificing one’s concerns for America’s interests.” In other words: to advocate for Israel is to advocate for the U.S. because their interests are wholly indistinguishable, even synonymous.”

8. “
When I was a teenager, a police officer explained to me how the “War on Drugs” took place in his hometown. The officer candidly described how every policeman in the city knew what boats contained drugs and when those boats would arrive in the city’s major port. But he also knew that officers were not expected to show up on these boats to make arrests, and that they were not to deter the progress of the product when it hit the port. Instead, they were instructed to allow the drugs to get to the inner city, where they were given authorization to make as many arrests as necessary. In other words, his job was to arrest the small fish, not the big ones.
The misleading, ill-conceived and terribly racist set of drug policies which defined the Reagan era has been absolutely devastating for the African-American community. The existence of gang warfare in South Central Los Angeles has left hundreds of thousands of youth with post-traumatic stress disorder, as the CIA was oblivious to the fact that drugs and guns were being openly delivered to a community that no one cares about. The Anti Drug Abuse Act of 1986 was the product of America’s broad-stroke reaction to increased drug use of the 1980s. The law gave a sentence 100 times greater for possession of crack cocaine (more likely to be possessed by blacks) than the one given for powder cocaine (possessed in greater proportion by whites), creating a black incarceration rate of holocaust proportions.
After sitting on the books for decades, the law was finally modified this year. Democratic Senator Dick Durbin and Republican Jeff Sessions did black people the “favor” of agreeing to reduce the sentencing disparity from 100-to-1 to 18-to-1. So, instead of getting a prison sentence that is 100 times longer for the same crime, we only get one that is 18 times longer. Gee thanks. I’m supposed to be happy about that one, huh? So, we’re not good enough to demand true equality, and are instead forced to accept dysfunctional compromises with Republicans from Alabama? While some might call this political pragmatism, others might describe this outcome as the modern-day version of the Three-Fifths Compromise. “
