1.  “CFR President Admits Wars of Agenda To Serve “…Global Order”

Hass’ rhetoric flies in the face of the admitted facts and evidence which support that New World Order (“Global Order”) and CFR agenda effectively, along with AIPAC and AEI, controls US foreign policy, despite his lies to the contrary. While he at the same time he ADMITS ON FILM that this mass murder (1.5 MILLION Middle East citizens dead) is carried out in service to the “agenda” and “set of objectives” of “…a group of individuals”! Certainly NOT on behalf of We The People.

Haass forwards the idea that individual presidents and allied politcal “cliques” proceed with their own selfish agendas that are exclusive of any wider interests.

It would be much closer to the truth to describe political figures, factions and ideology as mere means to an end, that unfold under the direction higher interests.

Haass’s view is in step with the related allegation that significant events happen at random and under the direction of inconsequntial people who “just got lucky”.”

3.  “The Taxi Driver Who Drove Us to War

Over on the other side of the pond, the British are doing something we would never ever do – aside, that is, from spreading Marmite on a tea biscuit and actually consuming it. They are investigating the origins of the Iraq war. They want to know how did they get lured into an operation that not only turned out badly, but also seems to have been based on a battery of ill-thought-out lies. A commission has been set up, and public hearings are being held: among the revelations is the information that a key source of claims for the existence of Iraq’s fabled “weapons of mass destruction” was the “intelligence” provided by an Iraqi taxi driver who said he overheard a conversation between two Iraqi military officers.

Actually, this is giving them too much credit: the idea that they cared about such outdated concepts as “truth” and “falsehood” seems, in retrospect, naïve. The decision to go to war had already been made: it remained only to justify the conclusion insofar as the public was concerned. That they proceeded to do with the full complicity of the “mainstream” media, which dutifully reported their successive revelations as if they were incontestably confirmed.

Why do we even have “intelligence” oversight committees in Congress, anyway? All they do is rubber-stamp what our spooks tell them, and hold closed sessions where they launder their lies for public consumption. And then they tell us that “everybody” thought Saddam had WMD. Well of course they did – because in Washington, D.C., to go up against the conventional wisdom as set down on the op ed pages of the WaPo, the Grey Lady, and the War Street Journal, is to achieve self-marginalization. Groupthink is the defining characteristic of the Washington hive, and if the “buzz” says one thing, woe be unto those who fail to take their cues from the accepted arbiters of Serious Opinion. “

4.  “Prussia in Palestine

When I first brought up the similarity between Prussia and Israel (in a chapter dedicated to this theme in the Hebrew and German editions of my 1967 book, Israel Without Zionists) it might have looked like a baseless comparison. Today, the picture is clearer. Not only does the senior officers corps occupy a central place in all the spheres of our life, and not only is the huge military budget beyond any discussion, but our daily news is full of typically “Prussian” items. For example: it transpires that the salary of the Army chief of staff is double that of the prime minister. The minister of education has announced that henceforth schools will be assessed by the number of their pupils who volunteer for army combat units. That sounds familiar – in German.

After the fall of the Third Reich, the four occupying powers decided to break up Prussia and divide its territories between several German federal states, Poland, and the USSR. That happened in February 1947 – only 15 months before the founding of the state of Israel.”

5.  “Supreme Court Ruling Means Torture May Return

The Supreme Court has just ruled that four Guantanamo prisoners cannot sue the government for torture. The Center for Constitutional Rights notes:

It is an awful day for the rule of law and common decency when the Supreme Court lets stand such an inhuman decision. The final word on whether these men had a right not to be tortured or a right to practice their religion free from abuse is that they did not. Future prospective torturers can now draw comfort from this decision. The lower court found that torture is all in a days’ work for the Secretary of Defense and senior generals. That violates the President’s stated policy, our treaty obligations and universal legal norms. Yet the Obama administration, in its rush to protect executive power, lost its moral compass and persuaded the Supreme Court to avoid a central moral challenge. Today our standing in the world has suffered a further great loss.

As Raw Story notes, this means that torture could return.”

6.  Hilarious:

Do Summers, Geithner and Bernanke Have to Share Credit for Saving the Banks with Drug Kingpins?

Costa is the head of the UN’s Office on Drugs and Crime. He says that what saved many banks during the height of the financial crisis was drug money:

“In many instances, the money from drugs was the only liquid investment capital. In the second half of 2008, liquidity was the banking system’s main problem and hence liquid capital became an important factor,” he said.

Some of the evidence put before his office indicated that gang money was used to save some banks from collapse when lending seized up, he said.

“Inter-bank loans were funded by money that originated from the drugs trade and other illegal activities … There were signs that some banks were rescued that way.”

So even if the banking system really has stabilized, Summers, Geithner and Bernanke cannot really take full credit.”

7.  “The Fed’s “Independence” Argument Is False

The House has passed a bill to audit the Federal Reserve. 79% of the American people support a full audit.

In response, the Fed says that an audit would interfere with its “independence”.

However, the Constitution does not empower a central bank, and Congress – which created the Federal Reserve in 1913 and which has the power to create credit and money – certainly has the power to audit, dissolve, or do whatever it likes with the central bank (including stripping it of the power to create credit).

I have previously pointed out that the the independence argument is a red herring.”

8.  Yet ANOTHER war:

9.  “War and public opinion

Urging leaders to continue to wage wars in the face of great public opposition, as the NYT Editorial Page does today, is deeply misguided and undemocratic.  But fighting wars for secret, undisclosed reasons — as Klein suggests and defends is being done by the Obama administration — is even worse.  But — as former Navy Commander Jeff Huber and former Marine Scott Ritter, among others, have both recently pointed out — Dwight Eisenhower’s warning has come true:  the military has become its own branch of government, uncontrolled by anyone and almost entirely unaccountable.  It virtually always gets what it wants.  The stated reasons for fighting in Afghanistan make so little sense that Klein is almost certainly right that the real causes are undisclosed.  It’s extremely difficult to imagine a circumstance that could justify that. “

10.  “  For Palestinians, Every Day Is Kristallnacht

“Settlers
attack West Bank mosque and burn holy Muslim books” was a London Times headline on December 11, 2009.

These attacks, together with the demolition of Palestinian homes, the uprooting of Palestinians’ olive groves, the innumerable checkpoints that prevent Palestinians from accessing schools, work, and medical care, the Israeli Wall that denies Palestinians access to the land stolen from them, and the isolation and blockade of the Gaza Ghetto, are part of the Israeli government’s policy of genocide for the Palestinians. “
