1.  “Pentagon Pouring Your Money Into Afghanistan: Are They Preparing for a Very Long War?

The Afghan Enemy: No Navy, No Air Force, No Industry.

And in many cases, no shoes.

Yet the most powerful military on the planet are reportedly unable to defeat them after 8 years.

The U.S. defeated the Nazis and Japanese empire in half the time during WW II.

The U.S. military is there because of hydrocarbon energy deposits and transport routes”

2.  Of course it doesn’t, since he was merely a bystander-victim of a standard-issue fragging:

3.  Orwell, anyone?

“Nuclear workers asked to spy on colleagues’ lives

Thousands of staff at UK nuclear power stations have been told to spy on the private lives of workmates and inform on colleagues who might be “vulnerable” to blackmail or bribery by terrorists intent on getting access to Britain’s nuclear secrets and stocks of weapon-grade plutonium.

As part of the “security measures” nuclear power station staff are being asked to keep a watch on their colleagues’ love lives. They are also being told to keep tabs on colleagues they think may be using illegal drugs and even those travelling abroad.”

Big Bankers Say They’re Doing God’s Work”

5.  No kidding:

“The report makes it clear that practices that have become routine in Israel are considered unacceptable in enlightened countries and should be corrected. “

6.  “The Annexation of Colombia to the US

The preservation of domestic peace is a basic prerogative of every government and the presence of Yankee troops in any Latin American country to do it on their behalf constitutes a blatant foreign interference in their internal affairs that will inevitably elicit the peoples’ rejection.

A simple reading of the document shows that not only the Colombian airbases will be in the Yankees’ hands but also the civilian airports and ultimately any facility that may be useful to their armed forces. The radio space is also available to that country with a different culture and other interests that have nothing in common with those of the Colombian people.

The US Armed Forces will have exceptional prerogatives.

The occupants can commit any crime anywhere in Colombia against Colombian families, property and laws and still be unaccountable to the country’s authorities. Actually, they have taken diseases and scandalous behavior to many places like the Palmerola military base inHonduras. In Cuba, when they came to visit the neo-colony, they sat astride the neck of Jose Marti’s statue, in the capital’s Central Park. The limit set with regards to the total number of soldiers can be modified as requested by the United States, and with no restriction whatsoever. The aircraft carriers and warships visiting the naval bases given to them can take as large a crew as they choose, and this can be thousands in only one of their large aircraft carriers.

The Agreement, which will remain in force for successive 10-year periods, can’t be modified until the end of every period, with a one-year prior notice. What will the United States do if an administration as that of Johnson, Nixon, Reagan, Bush sr. or Bush jr., and others like them, is asked to leave Colombia? The Yankees have ousted scores of governments in our hemisphere. How long would a government last in Colombiaif it announced such intentions?”

7.  “Conservatives’ Blind Support of “Our Troops”

In Defense of the Big Lie

And ask yourself the next time you blindly cheer in support of our troops, “who is benefitting from this?” Is it the country and citizens of Iraq or Afghanistan? Is it the believers of the essentially peaceful Islamic religion? Is it our troops coming home maimed, traumatized, poisoned and in body bags? Or is it Halliburton, KBR, BP Amoco, Exxon Mobil, CACI, Dyncorp, Blackwater, L3 Communications, Raytheon, Titan , GE, McDonnell Douglas and so on and so on….? Is it our federal government who has since 2001, gutted our Constitution in a power grab never before seen in American history? Who has benefitted? Follow the money. Seek the TRUTH. And if you really do support the troops, fight, with everything you have to end these illegal wars of aggression and empire-building so that we can bring them home to do what they’re sworn to do: protect our borders from foreign invasion, and protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America!”

8.  “America Owned by Its Army

The new army also has political ambitions. It now dominates U.S. foreign relations with a thousand bases worldwide and regional commanders like imperial proconsuls. Both General McChrystal and his superior, General David H. Petraeus, have been mentioned as future presidential candidates. The last general who became American president was Dwight Eisenhower. He is the one who warned Americans against “the military-industrial complex.”

9.  ” Broader Measure of U.S. Unemployment Stands at 17.5%

In all, more than one out of every six workers — 17.5 percent — were unemployed or underemployed in October. The previous recorded high was 17.1 percent, in December 1982.”
