“‘Conspiracy Blogs’ bigger threat than Stalin, Hitler
Political correctness is so easy to exploit. Universities in the United States, supposedly the guardians of intellectual rigour and scientific proof, have been cowed into accepting courses that clearly reject normal standards of evidence. This is perhaps the logical extreme of the anti-hierarchical revolution begun in the 1960s and now taken to a ridiculous and dangerous degree.
It may sound alarmist when one talks of these attempts to fragment proven reality. Yet the effects of counterknowledge and pseudo-history might develop a bigger threat to liberal democracy than the authoritarian onslaughts of Stalin and Hitler. This new insidious power to produce intellectual and scientific chaos is easy to underestimate.

“Studies of internet sites reveal an unholy alliance between left-wing 9/11 conspiracy theorists, right-wing Holocaust deniers and Islamic fundamentalists.”
I recall a History Channel documentary about OKC that repeated the same meme (from James Woolsey, no less), substituting “9/11 conspiracy theorists” with OKC conspiracy theorists. It’s an amazingly effective meme, because it sutures Holocaust denial with militias and Muslims. In other words, anyone who opposes the government domestically or externally is a Jew-hating conspiracy theorist.
…
Keep in mind that the Truth Movement is a huge threat to the existing power structure as it currently exists in D.C. When 9/11 Truth comes in, they are going to be OUT of power and they know it. Their professional life as politicians is spent fighting these battles, where we come in — somewhat naively — armed “only” with the Truth. James Woolsey’s JOB was/is to perceive threats and to report and respond to them.
This man’s argument is an anti-free speech argument. They are the ones who control the stage. This man’s argument is an anti-constitutional argument. Constitutional law is clearly on our side. We come with confidence that when the competing theories of the truth of 9/11are stood side by side that our explanation is the one the people will choose (and ARE choosing with accelerating results). Truth is funny that way.

This onslaught of counter-propaganda is very telling, and as Aidan has pointed out, it’s because our scenarios are more plausible and backed by scientific. historic and journalistic rigor that our analysis is catching hold.
Aligning us with holocaust deniers is wearing thin — a lame effort that will fall away largely due to our own efforts to monitor and marginalize ridiculous conjecture and opinion. An extreme minority of people have been denying the holocaust since the 1940s and I don’t see it gaining credibility in popular culture because of the internet. It’s also curious that “holocaust denial” comes up more often when talking about 9/11 than it does when talking about THE HOLOCAUST. Go figure.
And the fact that the Times can’t even get it right concerning “Zero” (not Loose Change) being shown in Russia proves that MSM has little concern about getting the facts right. That’s where we step in, and they don’t like it.
Yes, Aidan, it’s damage control and I truly never expected such an obvious and overt effort in the waning days of the Bush administration. My (personal) conclusion — They’re GUILTY. In a perverted way, it’s comforting to see them scramble to cover their tracks. So as Bush/Cheney step off the stage, we can look back and say, “Job well done.” We may not have put them behind bars, but we certainly have them on the run and that should be comforting to all of us, because our strength is growing and their strength is diminishing.
After the Obama “lovefest” tomorrow, it’s time to crank it up a notch.

What websites are you talking about? Scholars for 911 Truth and Justice? Architects and Engineers for 911 Truth? Pilots for 911 Truth? I don’t have space for links – use Google. All the psychobabble in the world is not going to make the facts disappear, I’m afraid.

Be thankful that people don’t buy the lies from governments any more. We now have the tools to look for ourselves what is true and what is not. Internet brought us the biggest collection of information ever in history. Of course the current leaders don’t want their population to be well informed !

Main Stream Media implant of this article, with all its lies, and devious devices such as intelligent design and anti-Moslem snipes, if anything, reveals more about the MSM and Sunday Times itself. The MSM is run on behalf of an international criminal syndicate operating between Washington, London, and Tel Aviv. People are not fools.

2. “King’s Anti-Imperialism and the Challenge for Obama
The Martin Luther King, Jr. that most Americans know is the man who said, “I have a dream” at a massive rally 250,000 strong in Washington, D.C., on August 28, 1963, while standing on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial during a March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom. That speech is about racial justice and ultimate reconciliation in the United States, and with the changes wrought in American law and practice by the Civil Rights movement, it is a speech that Americans can still feel hopeful about, even if we have not, as Dr. King would have said, “gotten there yet.”
But there was another King, the critic of the whole history of European colonialism in the global South, who celebrated the independence movements that led to decolonization in the decades after World War II. The anti-imperial King is the exact opposite of the Neoconservatives who set US policy in the early twenty-first century. Barack Obama, who inherits King’s Civil Rights legacy and is also burdened with the neo-imperialism of the W. era, has some crucial choices to make about whether he will heed the other King, or whether he will get roped into the previous administration’s neocolonial project simply because it is the status quo from which he will begin his tenure as commander in chief.“

The government believes Israeli army officers and soldiers will be sued over actions in the 21-day old offensive which began on December 27.“

4. Good for them:
“Early this morning, Jewish activists in a historic first in Los Angeles, chained themselves to the entrance of the Israeli Consulate and blocked the driveway to the parking structure, blocking all traffic in and out of the building. “We sent a clear message to the world that LA Jews are part of the global majority in opposition to the Israeli siege of Gaza,” said Lenny Potash a 72-year old protester who was cuffed to eight other activists, blocking the driveway to the consulate. The activists were joined by 50 other supporters and who chanted “LA Jews say, End the Siege of Gaza” and “Not in Our Name! We will Not be Silent!” Protesters also held up signs reading “Israeli Consulate: Closed for War Crimes.”
